Skin cleansing is part of daily care, morning as well as evening. To keep your skin beautiful and healthy over time, we have put together some tips to help you make the most of your skin care products so that they can work to their full potential.

Skin cleansing with water

Always cleanse your skin in the morning and evening before applying other skin care products. It's the first step in your skin care program, removing dirt and excess sebum. Normal tap water helps to remove dirt from the skin, but it only binds water-soluble substances. Even if you do not use make-up, you will have to resort to cleansing products. Because what remains is the sebum in which bacteria bind. This sebum can only be removed from fat-soluble products. This should especially be considered by persons with oily skin and skin prone to impurities.

The right skin type

The right cleansing depends on the right skin type. For example, normal tap water can dry out sensitive skin and lose its protective function. The consequences are redness and tension. Our Med series is ideal for sensitive skin. Med Facial Toner and Med Cleansing Milk are especially designed for sensitive skin. They thoroughly remove even the smallest dirt particles from the skin and soothe it. For oily skin we recommend Med Cleansing Gel. If your skin is oily and prone to pimples and acne, you can fall back on products from our Med+ Anti Spot series. Normal skin is more flexible. Here the mild cleansing foam of our Flexible Cleansing Series is sufficient.

Peelings

A weekly peeling is part of the basic cleansing, especially for oily skin. A peeling can counteract skin impurities and help to maintain a radiant complexion. Our Flexible Cleansing Sea Peeling is a mild, lightly foaming facial peeling that gently removes cornification and optimally prepares the skin for the following care.

Tip: Peelings should always be applied to cleansed skin in the evening. Any redness can disappear overnight.
