Entwicklung einer Creme
Bis eine Creme in ihren Tiegel kommt, durchläuft sie bei La mer unzählige Schritte. Alles beginnt im Labor: Unsere Produktentwicklung ist stets auf der Suche nach neuen, innovativen Wirkstoffen. Dabei stehen sie immer vor der Herausforderung, die Wünsche unserer Kund*innen mit den neuesten Wirkstoffen und Markttrends zu kombinieren.
Experimentelle Phase
Ist eine Grundidee des neuen Produktes entstanden, werden verschiedene Formulierungen getestet, Wechselwirkungen ausgeschlossen und Konsistenz, Hautgefühl und natürlich die Wirkungsweise genauestens festgelegt. Dabei achten wir stets darauf, in unseren Formulierungen auf marine und natürliche Wirkstoffe zurückzugreifen – ganz getreu dem Motto „Hochverträgliche Kosmetik mit der Kraft des Wattenmeeres“.
Stabilitätstests
Parallel dazu werden Prototypen des Produkts im Labor sogenannten Stabilitätstests unterzogen. Unter den kritischen Augen unserer Qualitätssicherung wird die Haltbarkeit und Stabilität des Produktes unter Extrembedingungen getestet. Denn Ihre Creme muss auch den heißen Kofferraum Ihres Autos oder den kalten Laderaum eines Flugzeuges unbeschadet überstehen.
Verträglichkeitstest
Eine sehr gute Hautverträglichkeit vor allem für eine sensible oder kranke Haut steht in unserem Fokus. Hat die Creme alle Stabilitätstests und mikrobiologische Untersuchungen bestanden, gehen erste Proben an Dermatologen und freiwillige Probanden, die unabhängige Tests erstellen.
Keimfreie Zone
Sind alle bisherigen Tests zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit abgeschlossen, wird die sogenannte Bulkware hergestellt. Dies bezeichnet die noch nicht abgefüllte Creme. Unter strengsten hygienischen Bedingungen werden in unserer Produktionsanlage alle Ingredienzen der Rezeptur zusammengemischt. Nach der reinen Produktionszeit (ca. 4 Stunden) kommt der Bulk in großen Gebinden ins Lager zur mikrobiologischen Freigabe. Konsistenz, pH-Wert, Inhaltsstoffe und Reinheit müssen erneut durch das Labor getestet werden.
Ab in den Tiegel
Parallel zu den bisherigen Schritten entwickelt unser Marketing gemeinsam mit dem Einkauf die Primärverpackung (Tube, Tiegel, Spender,…) sowie die Umverpackungen. Wurde der Bulk unserer Creme von der Qualitätssicherung freigegeben, kommt sie in die Produktionsstraße. Dort wird sie entweder maschinell in ihren Tiegel gefüllt, oder – je nach Produkt – sogar per Hand in ihr Primärbehältnis abgefüllt. Danach wird das Behältnis verschlossen, etikettiert, mit einer Chargennummer versehen, in den Umkarton verpackt und gewogen.
